How do I book a counselling appointment?

You can book an appointment by emailing matt@mattdix.co.uk or calling / texting me on 07471 319548.

Where do counselling sessions take place?

I can provide live counselling sessions online via free software (Zoom). If you have not used this before, I can send you guidance to help you prepare.

Telephone counselling is also available.

For face to face appointments, I work in Cannock and Birmingham – please contact me for further details if you are interested in this.

How often are counselling sessions and how long do they last?

Typically sessions are weekly and are 50 minutes. However it’s important that frequency and length of sessions works for both of us, so this can be negotiated and discussed in more detail when agreeing how to work together.

How much do counselling sessions cost?

£60 per session (50 minutes)

The fee is payable in advance of each session, I can send bank details to you to arrange your payment so that your slot is secured.

What is counselling?

Counselling provides an opportunity for you to explore a personal difficulty in a confidential and supportive environment. This may include expressing feelings that are painful and which many of us experience at certain times in our lives. When this happens, it can be difficult to stay positive and cope with everyday life.

Counselling gives you the chance to access support at a time and in a place which is convenient to you, whether this be face to face, via computer screen or on the telephone.
