HOW I CAN HELP YOU
My name is Matt and I am a qualified counsellor offering online and telephone counselling to people who would like help with their self-esteem and confidence.
Many people I work with feel that they have a pattern in their lives of being taken advantage of and that they are not expressing who they truly are. People often tell me they feel they have no time to relax and feel tense, stressed and overwhelmed.
The way I approach counselling is to explore how to give you more control of how you spend your time and energy. I help you to be clearer with people about what you will or won’t do (creating boundaries) and encourage you to focus on choices that are right for you, free from the expectations of others.
Through counselling, you can build confidence in who you are, your abilities and the decisions you make. When we work together, I will always be focussed on what is important to you and help you to uncover your own solutions, rather than giving advice or telling you what you “should” do. My intention is that you are then able to continue to build on what you have learnt independently and with greater levels of self-belief and focus.
Put simply, as your counsellor, I will listen to you and support you to make the changes you want for your life.
I have online and telephone appointments for counselling available now, including evenings and weekends.
